The story takes place on the small, charming island of Lummerland, which only has four inhabitants: King Alfons the quarter-twelfth, the brave locomotive guide Lukas with his steam locomotive Emma, the lovable shop owner Ms. Waas and the loyal subtan lord. When one day a package from the postman revealed a baby - Jim - an exciting adventure begins for Lukas and his friends. Together they grow up in a world full of love and friendship. But when the king decides that the locomotive Emma has to leave the island, Jim and Lukas face a major challenge. They quickly turn Emma into a ship and break down on an exciting journey that leads them far beyond the borders of Lummerland.
