Government program: Vöpe demands quick implementation for residential buildings!

This was first challenged in June 2024 to strengthen the expertise on construction. However, Köttl regrets that the central topic of living has not been anchored in its own department, which is considered extremely unfortunate in view of the planned government size.

In its first conclusion about the government program, the bird emphasizes that many of its demands were taken into account. Eight out of twelve points in the government program reflect the demands of the birds. These include the amendment of the developer contract law as well as measures to simplify and accelerate construction processes. In addition, the priority of area recycling and renovation in front of new buildings is prioritized. In particular, the improved coordination of funding in the area of ​​living is a step in the right direction. "In any case, planning and security are the most important thing for the construction industry," says Köttl. Vöpe reports on the role of project developers as central actors in the creation of living space and emphasizes the importance of the upcoming political measures.
