Linder warns: Central interventions threaten community skills!
Maximilian Linder, the freedom spokesman for municipal matters, urges the government's centralistic endeavors, which could endanger the competencies of the communities. In his most recent statement, he criticized the plans that the "planning and dedication skills should be bundled more at the state level". This is under the pretext of regulating soil consumption, while the actual decisions about local projects such as wind turbines or photovoltaic systems, the population and the municipalities are passed by, Linder said. According to OTS such measures endanger the direct democracy and the right to self-determination of citizens.
In addition to discussion about local skills, Linder also appeared in the debate about the extension of family allowance and childcare allowance for refugees from Ukraine. He emphasized that it was important that people who receive income -dependent support can continue to work slightly, and demanded an increase in the additional earnings limit from 8,100 euros to 8,600 euros.
