Police are looking for witnesses to an incident that occurred on the B15 near Loiting. On Wednesday evening, between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m., a 26-year-old woman from the northeastern district was driving her Opel towards Taufkirchen when she encountered a red vehicle. To avoid a collision, she swerved, which caused the exterior mirrors of both vehicles to come into contact. The damage to the Opel is estimated at around 1,000 euros. The driver of the red car left the scene of the accident without permission, which is why the police are asking for information. Witnesses are asked to call (08081) 9305-0 Mercury reported.

Another serious traffic accident also occurred on the B15, but near Schechen. Two cars collided head-on on Tuesday afternoon. The 33-year-old driver from the northern Rosenheim district was driving her Audi towards Wasserburg when, for unknown reasons, she crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Ford driven by a 27-year-old from Kolbermoor. One passenger was seriously injured in the accident and a rescue helicopter had to be called. Both drivers were injured and taken to hospital for medical treatment. The vehicles were totaled and the B15 was completely closed for around two hours while the accident was being recorded. Several fire departments, including those from Marienberg, Hochstätt, Schechen and Rott, as well as two emergency doctors and the rescue service were on duty Wasserburg voice reported.
