The police warned of fake letters from Schleswig-Holstein Netz GmbH (SH Netz) that contain financial demands. A man from Marne, Dithmarschen district, received a reminder shortly before Christmas Eve that claimed a payment of 20 euros and a SEPA direct debit mandate. However, the person concerned realized that it was a fake and filed a complaint.
The police confirmed that the letter in question is not authentic and advised the recipients of dubious reminders, before payments and direct debit mandates. As a precaution, those affected should ask for checking the authenticity of the letter to the sender. SH Netz also informed the man that the letter does not come from them.
