Tricky robbers: Police hunt masked accomplices in Stadlau!

Yesterday there was a spectacular robbery at a bank on Landstrasse in Vienna. A 40-year-old man stormed into the financial institution and then fled on foot. Police, who responded quickly to the alarm, arrested the suspected robber about half an hour after the attack. What was significant was that the perpetrator's weapon was not functional; it was a dummy weapon that was confiscated. The stolen cash initially remained unknown, but there were no injuries during the robbery, as the Vienna State Police Department confirmed ORF Vienna reported.

Another incident occurred a few months ago in Stadlau, a district in the 22nd district, where a masked robber and an accomplice who had already been arrested threatened a couple with firearms. The two perpetrators stole cell phones, the value of which is in the mid four-digit euro range. After the crime, the suspects fled into an adjacent forest. While the initial search was unsuccessful, the suspects were later identified on surveillance images from a subway station. A 17-year-old Austrian has already been caught, but has refused to give any statement about his accomplice. The police are now asking the public for information on how Express reported.
