In the Rhein-Pfalz district there was a fight on the main street in Neuhofen on Saturday, January 11, 2025, around 5:55 p.m. This reported MRN News. Several people were involved, including three defendants who were heavily intoxicated and who got into an argument after watching a football game together. The people involved showed verbally aggressive and erratic behavior.

The police were called and measures were taken against the aggressors, who were arrested. A 34-year-old suspect resisted and kicked the police officers. A 33-year-old opponent tried to end this resistance. Finally, all the aggressors were tied up. In the incident, two suspects and two police officers suffered superficial injuries, which were treated by the emergency services.

Investigations and legal consequences

The two accused who resisted were taken into police custody and blood samples were taken. She is being investigated for resistance, assault on law enforcement officers and bodily harm. The third defendant, who was not involved in the resistance, also faces a charge of assault.
