Serious accident on B207: Driver fights for her life!

A serious accident occurred on Friday evening on the B207 near Disnack when a driver lost control of her vehicle and collided head-on with an oncoming car. According to information from LN Online, the 40-year-old may have been drunk at the time of the accident, which was confirmed by a previously received emergency call. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. after a person reported a vehicle driving erratically. A short time later a collision occurred.

During the accident, four ambulances and an emergency doctor were sent to the scene. The seriously injured driver was transported to a Lübeck clinic, as was the driver of the oncoming Mini, who also suffered injuries. The other vehicles were occupied by two people who fortunately only suffered minor injuries and were able to remain at the scene of the accident. The federal highway was completely closed for about an hour before traffic was diverted to a single lane past the accident site ORF Vienna reported.

The emergency teams worked quickly and effectively to secure the accident site and treat the injured. The police initiated a blood test for the driver concerned in order to confirm or rule out suspicion of drunkenness. This highlights the urgency and danger posed by alcohol-impaired driving.
