Horrible accident in Sölden: Two cars crash together!

On Tuesday afternoon, January 14, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred in Sölden in the Tyrolean Ötztal at the intersection of the B186 and Gletscherstrasse. Two vehicles collided when a 52-year-old local wanted to turn from Glacier Road onto the B186 and crashed into the oncoming car of a 37-year-old Romanian. The force of the impact caused significant damage to both vehicles, and police reported temporary traffic delays due to the accident investigation and clean-up work, such as the crown reported.

According to the initial diagnosis, the Romanian driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local doctor's office for further medical treatment. His passenger remained uninjured, as did the 52-year-old Austrian driver and his passenger, who survived the accident with a shock.
