Linz, Österreich - In Wels there was a dramatic incident that now employs the public prosecutor. On January 31, a 20-year-old man with Serbian-Hungarian citizenship was caught in a nerve-wracking persecution after gripping police strips with speeds of up to 250 km/h over the B1. The hunt began when he drove over a locking line that should have moved him to stop. Unfortunately, this risky journey ended in a serious accident at the Trauner crossing, where the young man crashed into several standing cars with over 160 km/h. Both the driver and his passenger, two police officers and another road user were seriously injured. The Wels public prosecutor's office assumes a conditional killing facility, since there are at least five dangerous situations with up to 20 affected vehicles that brought the lives of many people in danger, said prosecutor's spokesman Christoph Weber.
