A dramatic accident on slope number 11 in Flachau occurred on Friday evening when a 22-year-old woman from Mattighofen drove her quad bike over a snow cornice. At around 6:10 p.m. she lost control of the vehicle, which then rolled over several times. While the driver fortunately escaped the fright, her 21-year-old passenger from Vienna sustained a back injury ORF Salzburg reported.
Immediately after the incident, the police carried out a breathalyzer test on the driver, which revealed a blood alcohol level of 0.34. The 22-year-old is being investigated for negligent bodily harm.
