Handborn stolen wallbag in Aldi - police are looking for witnesses!
On Monday morning, January 7, 2025, a 76-year-old woman from the municipality of Wehretal in the Aldi market on Niederhoner Straße in Eschwege was stolen. The incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. when the woman at the cash register noticed that her handbag was open and the wallet was missing, like the Werra Rundschau reported.
In the wallet, there were cash and ID documents, the total damage is estimated at around 350 euros. The police in Eschwege took the investigation and asks for information on telephone number 0 56 51/9250.
Investigations and other incidents
In addition to the theft in Eschwege, further incidents were also registered on the same day. According to the current police reports, an accident occurred on the B 27 at 4:40 p.m. when a falling branch damaged a vehicle. The property damage is estimated at around 1,000 euros. Another incident at 6:14 p.m. affected an 84-year-old whose car was damaged by an overturned telephone fattening on the L 3424, also with property damage of around 1,000 euros.
Also an incident in the parking lot of a Lidl market in Eschwege attracted attention. At 3:10 p.m. there was a bodily harm between two men. The perpetrator fled, however, later returned, while the police also initiated investigations because of this incident.
