In a shocking incident in Lauenburg, a 14-year-old girl was pushed in front of an approaching car on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. According to the Lauenburger News The girl was walking on the sidewalk of Hamburger Straße towards the central bus station around 2 p.m. when she met a woman. She is said to have stormed towards the child while discussing loudly with herself. Despite trying to get out of the way, the woman pulled the girl by her arm toward the street and pushed her in front of an approaching car.
The driver of the car managed to brake immediately and swerve, only hitting the girl's pants and allowing her to escape. The police were later able to arrest a local suspect from Lauenburg who was in a psychological state of emergency. The circumstances of this incident have alerted the Geesthacht criminal police, who are now asking witnesses and the driver in particular to come forward. This was reported by the Ratzeburg Police Department, which also coordinates the investigation.
