Dark attack on a gas station in Bregenz: perpetrator on the run!

On the night of February 12, 2025, an armed robbery occurred at a gas station on Bregenzer Strasse in Lochau VOL.AT reported. A still unknown perpetrator, armed with a knife, threatened an employee and demanded cash. After the crime, the perpetrator fled towards Bregenz city center. Fortunately, the victim was not physically injured and was able to quickly report the incident to the police.

Immediately after the attack, the police launched a large-scale search operation. The area was extensively cordoned off and a police dog team was involved in the search to locate the suspect. Forensics secured possible evidence at the crime scene. The wanted perpetrator is described as being around 175 to 180 cm tall and slim, and was wearing dark clothing. The Vorarlberg State Criminal Police Office is asking witnesses who have seen suspicious people in the area around the gas station to call +43 (0) 59 133 80 3333 vorarlberg.ORF.at reports.
