Drug thief attacks church: Hospital in shock!

After a spectacular break-in at a pharmacy in Spittal an der Drau, the police are on the trail of the suspected perpetrator. On the Wednesday before Christmas, a 19-year-old broke into the pharmacy and stole medication worth several thousand euros. The officers from the Spittal police station were able to identify the suspect after extensive investigations and the analysis of surveillance videos. The young man confessed that he had consumed the stolen drugs himself and that he had partly passed them on ORF Carinthia reported.

However, the discovery of the crime leads to further sensitive revelations. The 19-year-old is not only held responsible for the pharmacy robbery, but also for a failed break-in at a nearby church, in which he was caught red-handed by the priest. Despite escaping without loot = the incident did not go unnoticed and the police were able to quickly locate the suspect. However, due to his impairment from taking medication, the young man was unable to provide detailed information in his statement about the church the Carinthian Crown.

The 19-year-old now faces significant legal consequences as he has been reported to the Klagenfurt public prosecutor. He is suspected of not only having committed thefts in the past, but also of posing a potential risk to the public through his behavior. Police have launched further investigations to establish possible links to other crimes and to ensure the perpetrator is brought to justice.
