The argument escalated around 9:35 a.m. when the men pushed the victim to the ground and kicked him to the body and head, leaving the man unconscious. The police, who were quickly on the scene, were able to arrest two of the attackers inside the bar. However, the Bosnian-born man managed to escape and has been looking for him as a wanted target ever since.

According to information from the authorities, an arrest warrant was issued against the fugitive perpetrator. The 33-year-old Croatian was provisionally released after his questioning by the public prosecutor in Steyr, while the 41-year-old was taken to the Garsten prison.
