Bloody dispute in Vienna: Man arrested after attacking his wife

In Vienna, on the evening of January 3, 2025, a tragic incident occurred in an apartment in theSiebenbrunnengasse. A neighbor alerted the police when she heard loud arguments coming from the neighboring apartment for hours. At 10:45 p.m., officers from the Margareten City Police Command arrived at the scene, where the concerned caller directed them to the source of the noise ORF Vienna reported.

When the police knocked on the door, a 54-year-old man covered in blood opened the door and asked them to enter the apartment. He claimed his 34-year-old wife was in the bedroom and everything was fine. But when the officers visited the sleeping woman, the horrendous extent of the situation became apparent: the woman was also covered in blood and had several injuries, particularly to her face.
