Armed attack in Geretsried: Perpetrators escape without loot!
In Geretsried there was a dramatic attack on a drinks market on Banater Straße on Saturday evening, December 21, 2024. At around 9 p.m., two masked men entered the market and threatened the employees with a handgun. Despite a physical attack on one of the employees, who fortunately was not seriously injured, the perpetrators were unable to rob cash or goods. The two employees suffered shock, but remained uninjured the Süddeutsche Zeitung reported.
The perpetrators took a violent approach and physically attacked an employee, but the employees' brave resistance meant that they had to flee without loot. The police immediately launched a large-scale manhunt involving numerous patrol cars. Despite an intensive search, the perpetrators remained undetected. The Weilheim Criminal Police Inspectorate has now taken over the investigation and is asking the public for help. How Bild reported, witnesses who made suspicious observations near the attack on Saturday evening should come forward immediately.
Description of the perpetrator and information
The two armed men are male and between 175 and 180 centimeters tall. They had darker complexions and were dressed entirely in black, including balaclavas, sunglasses and gloves. The police have intensified their investigations and are appealing to citizens to contact the Weilheim Criminal Investigation Department on 0881/640-0 or any other police station if they have information that could help solve the attack.
