On June 17, 2025, a traffic accident occurred at around 6:30 a.m. on the L 188 in Gortipohl, in which two drivers were apparently slightly injured. According to reports from Vol.at , a 17-year-old car driver was involved in the accident when he overlooked a vehicle coming from the direction of Gaschurn. The 39-year-old driver of the oncoming car could no longer react in time, which led to a side collision of the two vehicles.
