The Oö. The Comradeship Association is planning an exciting transformation of the former peace museum in Wolfsegg into a mobile peace workshop and is looking for committed colleagues. Nagl has now officially handed over the museum to the Comradeship Association and sees this as an opportunity for a fresh direction in peace work.
The new president Anton Hüttmayr has set himself the goal of integrating young people in particular into the project and bringing the issue of peace into the spotlight. The plan is to set up a mobile peace bus that will tour through the district and bring the topic of peace directly to the communities. Events with lectures by experts and workshops for school classes are planned at each new location. A new chapter for peace work
The original Peace Museum closed in October 2024, and the future of the site is currently uncertain. Discussions with partners and the community are underway to further advance the vision of the mobile workshop. Hüttmayr emphasizes that the structures of the comradeship association could create a good basis for developing interesting content and technical solutions for the peace workshop. Preparations for submitting an application to Leader are already underway, and those interested are called upon to actively participate in this peace project.
