Wolfsegg: Mobile peace workshop should breathe new life!

Wolfsegg, Österreich - the Upper Austria. Comradeship Association is planning an exciting conversion of the former Peace Museum in Wolfsegg into a mobile peace workshop and is looking for committed colleagues. The Peace Museum, founded by Franz Deutsch in 1993, was modernized several times under the direction of Josef Nagl, who was at the top for 15 years, but the hoped -for financial support failed to realize larger projects, such as meinbezirk.at . Now Nagl has officially handed over the museum to the comradeship association and sees it a chance for a fresh orientation of peace work.

The new President Anton Hüttmayr has set himself the goal of integrating young people into the project in particular and putting the peace issue in the spotlight. It is planned to set up a mobile peacebus, which tours through the district and bring peace directly to the communities. Events with lectures by experts and workshops for school classes are planned at every new location.
