Vienna calls: Girls discover the future at the daughter day 2025!

An exciting highlight for schoolchildren is just around the corner: the Vienna daughter day 2025! On February 10, the registration begins under the motto "I Can do it!" To encourage girls, put their talents and heart wishes into practice. Vice Mayor and Councilor for women Kathrin Gaál emphasizes the variety of possibilities in Vienna, where no professional dreams should be restricted by outdated role models. On April 24, 2025, pupils have the chance to spend an exciting trial day in companies in order to get to know professions in the areas of technology, natural sciences, digitization and craft. Discover diverse professions

Registration for the Vienna daughter day is possible online from 9:00 a.m. on the platform www.toechtertag.at. Fees do not apply to the participating students or companies. The program also offers signal effect for very young girls: the initiative "Daughter Day Kids" and "Daughter Day Mini" for younger schoolchildren in a playful way to the topic of career choice. Accompanied by teachers, the children explore professions such as the craftsman or programmer for about two hours each.
