Shocking incident in Floridsdorf kindergarten: children escaped unnoticed
A worrying incident occurred last Tuesday in a Floridsdorf kindergarten when three four -year -old girl disappeared from the facility unnoticed. According to a report by "Today.at", no employee could find that the children who were in the care of the "Wiener Kinderfreunde" had left kindergarten on Prague Strasse.
The description of a mother illustrates the disturbing situation: while the children played in the garden, they climbed over the fence and set off. The girls were alone on streets for about 15 minutes, which are heavily frequented before they finally got home. The discovery of her lack was only after a call from the parents, who, in astonishment, asked for the disappearance of the children.
reactions and measures
After the incident, discussions were held with all the parents concerned, and a parents' evening was organized to inform about the events and clarify questions. The area manager responsible for kindergarten was also on site to be available to the parents as a contact person.
The "Wiener Kinderfreunde" also submitted a voluntary disclosure to the responsible child and youth welfare (MA 11) in Vienna. Müller-Wenzel noticed: "We have several control and security mechanisms, which unfortunately obviously failed at the same time." The organization is already working on the concrete improvement of these mechanisms to ensure that such incidents do not repeat themselves in the future.
It can be heard that all three children are well. Nevertheless, the question remains how such situations can happen in a care facility. Those responsible emphasize that they want to do everything to ensure the safety and well -being of the children. More information about the developments in this case are in a detailed report on www.meinbezirk.at to be found.
