HAK Deutschlandsberg is involved in the Young Entrepreneurs Program

An exciting initiative for young entrepreneurs has started: The "Young Entrepreneurs Program Austria" (Yepa) offers pupils from the Deutschlandsberg trade academy the opportunity to network with like -minded people from all over Austria and develop their business ideas. This project not only promises valuable experiences, but also interesting encounters with other creative minds.

The starting shot was found a few weeks ago with a three-day kick-off event in Vienna. On the first day, the students of the HAK Deutschlandsberg and other participants from all over the country inspired the "Albert Hall". Here the young people made contacts quickly and presented their first ideas that they will continue to work out during the school year.

First steps into the entrepreneurial world

On the second day of the event, the Vienna City Hall was on the program. The participants had the chance to take part in interactive stations that offered them exciting insights into current trends and challenges in entrepreneurship. Topics such as the development of innovative business models and the presentation of business plan competitions were the focus. In addition to workshops, there were also live presentations of the winning projects of the "Next Generation Awards", who offered inspiration to the prospective entrepreneurs.

The highlight was the third day in the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, where there were lectures and intensive discussions on topics such as circular economy, financing and artificial intelligence. These sessions are intended to help students develop a deeper understanding of the needs and challenges of the modern business world.

The Yepa offer promises even more: Participants can look forward to numerous future events, including the “Entrepreneurship Summit 2024”. Each team has the chance to get a scholarship of 300 euros and take part in four full -day workshops with the trainer Samantha Tady to further develop their ideas. In addition, a supporting community is offered that is available for technical questions.

The best projects are finally awarded the "Rotary Youth Award for Sustainability", with prices waiting for the winners with a total value of 50,000 euros. This motivates the young entrepreneurs to demonstrate their creativity and innovative strength.

If you want to learn more about the work of the HAK students, you have the opportunity to take part in the "Open Day" of the BHAK/BHAS Deutschlandsberg. This will take place on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Here interested parties can exchange ideas with the YEPA teams and get to know their project ideas.
