An outstanding event was the awarding of honorary citizenship to senior medical council Dr. Peter Kozlowsky, who took place on June 5. As a long -time community doctor, Dr. Kozlowsky has had a significant influence on medical care in the region since 1985. Mayor Gary praised his merits, in particular his initiatives to improve emergency care, such as the foundation of the first emergency car in Austria. On January 26, 2024, the municipality was hosting an impressive event: the solemn engagement of 300 recruits. In cooperation with the Enlightenment and Artillery Battalion 3 Mistelbach, numerous citizens and relatives took part in this ceremony, which will be remembered by everyone.

The fact that community life in Schönkirchen-Reyersdorf is blooming, also show the many events that took place all year round. For example, the playground in the Silberwald district turned into a real family paradise when an entertaining festival took place there. The fire brigade also presented itself and caused curiosity among the children, while a musical ensemble created the right mood.

In May the traditional flea market of the tennis club took place, which was very well received. Further highlights of the club life were the cricket event in June and the children's carnival festival in January, in which Clownin Popolina delighted the little guests.

Another important point on the agenda was the future of health care. The redesign of the former bank branch into modern practical space for the Schönkirchen-Auersthal practice community is progressing. These new premises will be equipped with the latest equipment to ensure comprehensive medical care. The first phase of the renovation should be completed by the turn of the year, so that the care of the citizens is also secured in the long term.

In August, the village shop celebrated its first birthday in the village and proves to be a model of success. Over 50,000 customers have already visited the shop, which far exceeded the high expectations of the community. The village shop not only strengthens the regional economy, but also offers efficient local supply for the population.

The community has also made progress in the field of education. Since September 2024, children from the age of two can be included in kindergarten. Extensive conversions were carried out for this expansion to create five group rooms and to adapt the infrastructure to the needs of the little ones.

The bathing season in the parking pool was successful, with over 26,000 guests. The highlights were the "Summer Blowout" and the bathroom festival, which brought together the community and provided fun and enthusiasm.
