Laimgrubengasse 10, 1060 Wien, Österreich - Wiener school children is offered an exciting chance in the new semester! The Samaritanbund project "Powerup!-Super forces for strong children" goes into the second round. In this innovative program, which is financed by the City of Vienna, children and adolescents learn to strengthen their resilience in order to better deal with the challenges of everyday life. Resilience means the ability to get back on the feet after setbacks and believe in yourself. Dr. Susanne Drapalik, President of the Vienna Samaritan Association, emphasizes the importance of this inner strength that can be trained like a muscle. Under the motto "Resilience is good for everyone", the workshops should be the pupils: Inside, motivating to deal with difficulties constructively.
diverse workshops for children and adolescents
The program offers workshops in the class association, which are designed especially for elementary and middle schools as well as the AHS substance. The teachers can choose from different modules that cover topics such as emotional perception, identity finding and social interaction. The afternoon area, on the other hand, offers voluntary additional offers in which the children can experience creative and sporting activities that are tailored to their reality. These approaches not only promote social interaction, but also enable the participants to actively reflect on their experiences.
In addition, the “Powerleo” project from the Samaritanbund Vienna shows young girls and women new ways for a self -determined life. It offers a number of offers ranging from educational advice to self -defense courses. The aim is to convey to the participants that they have the same opportunities and rights as boys and they are encouraged to actively shape their lives. According to the Samaritan Association, it is important to convey: "You can determine your life yourself!" These initiatives are part of a comprehensive approach to promoting resilience and empowerment that aims to strengthen the skills and self -confidence of children and adolescents, such as wien.samariterbund.net
