Schnitzelbär expansion in Höchst: construction site visit explains delays and opening date
There has been talk about opening a new schnitzel restaurant in Höchst for some time. The Schnitzelbär chain has been planning to expand to Höchst for three years, but the restaurant has not yet opened. But there is progress on the construction site that shows that things are moving forward.
Work began at the beginning of the year, although construction manager Benjamin Bereuter emphasizes that some final work still needs to be completed. Interior work such as the flooring and painting as well as all the furnishings are still missing. The design of the outdoor area is scheduled to start in November.
The official opening date is scheduled for February next year if everything goes according to plan. The operator of the Schnitzelbär chain, Dietmar Pichler, confirms this information and is confident. Despite the delays and challenges during the construction process, Pichler is looking forward to the opening.
The long delay in the project can be attributed to various reasons, chief among which are changes in architects, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and delays due to rains and holidays by the construction company. But now it seems that the project is on the home stretch and the opening is imminent.
