Bödele, Österreich - The winter season 2024/2025 for skiers in Vorarlberg is really going with several open and weather caprioles! Three important ski areas - Silvretta Montafon, Gargellen and the Bödele - have already started operating. The ski areas Lech/Zürs and Mellau/Damüls can now start operating, but initially without the connection between the two slopes due to stormy weather. Here you hope that the connection can be restored on Saturday. For other areas, such as Sonnenkopf and Raggal, the season opener must be postponed to the next week due to snow problems. The company was also planned for December 6th in the Kleinwalsertal, but the strong winds only had a drag lift.

This is what the winter sports enthusiast in the region has an important weekend: On Saturday, December 8th, the connection between Mellau and Damüls opens, and ski companies such as ifen and Nebelhornbahn should also follow until next week. Regular operation in many areas then starts on November 29, 2024, provided the snow conditions allow it. While the anticipation is great, it remains to be seen how the weather situation develops and whether snow falls in time to be able to use the slopes in full.
