Kiwanis Prize 2024: Christmas angels from Dornbirn receive social award
The coveted Kiwanis Prize 2024 was recently awarded to the “Christmas Angels” from Dornbirn at the Hotel Traube in Braz. This prize, worth 6,000 euros, was presented at a meeting of all Vorarlberg Kiwanis clubs. The president of Kiwanis Bludenz-Rätikon, Alexander Plakolm, praised the commitment of the association, which works all year round for needy children by fulfilling their heart's desires. The commitment of founder Sandra Antonazzi and her team was particularly highlighted.
Another highlight of the evening was the handover of office to Gerhard Beck, who took over as the new Lt. Governor of Kiwanis Vorarlberg was elected. Thomas Koch, the previous incumbent, looked back on his term of office and handed over the position to Gerhard Beck from the Kiwanis Club Bludenz-Rätikon. The support from all Kiwanis clubs in Vorarlberg illustrates the importance of this social initiative, which helps to give children in need some joy.
