A 43-year-old man from Leutkirch had refueled at a petrol station in the industrial area and then moved away with a stolen vehicle without payment. The fleeing of the perpetrator stretched over several kilometers towards the Austrian border. At Bregenz, the driver turned and raced back to the B 308 towards Lindenberg, whereby he broke through several roadblocks and rams and police vehicles. After a risky maneuver, the man lost control of his vehicle and came off the street. Police forces converted the car, but the driver refused to leave it. Finally, he threatened the officials with a firearm, as the
