Tragic accident: 24-year-old dies in car accident in Vorarlberg

In the night of February 15, 2025, a tragic traffic accident occurred in Vorarlberg, in which a 24-year-old driver lost his life. The young man was traveling towards Wolfurt on Bucher Strasse at 00:25 on Bucher Strasse when he came off the road in a light left curve for unknown reasons. He ran over a snow -capped area and fell into a Tobel, where his vehicle crashed into a tree around 13 meters further with full force. The impact led to serious head and facial injuries, which is why the emergency doctor could only determine the death of the driver on site, as the police said.

The emergency call was immediately discontinued via the vehicle's ecall system, which alerted the police. Nevertheless, the rescue measures proved to be extremely demanding. Due to the snow -covered and steep terrain, the fire brigade and mountain rescue workers had to transport the deceased with a stretcher to Bucher Strasse. A crane was used to rescue the accident car because the vehicle was in difficult to access terrain. Numerous forces from the fire brigade and the emergency services were involved in the rescue operation, including 30 firefighters from FF Wolfurt and 20 from FF Bregenz pre -monastery, as well as several paramedics and mountain rescuers who do everything they can to help, but all help came too late for the young man, like 5min.at reported.
