At the moment of handball, the excitement in the HLA Challenge becomes palpable, with exciting encounters on the upcoming match day. The eighth round in the South/East group starts tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. in a duel between Koppensteiner WAT Fünfhaus and HIB Grosschädl Stahl Graz. Both teams are in the bottom third of the table and are hoping to improve their performance with a win.
At 6:30 p.m. there will be a clash between UHC Speed Connect Hollabrunn and the Perchtoldsdorf Devils in the Lower Austria derby. Hollabrunn is so far unbeaten and is considered the favorite, while Perchtoldsdorf is trying to catch up. The match day will be rounded off at 7:00 p.m. with the match between Union Sparkasse Korneuburg and Brixton Fire Krems Langenlois.

The Vienna derby will take place on Sunday when MADx WAT Atzgersdorf meets HC FIVERS WAT Margareten II at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are tied on points and have an even balance, which makes the game particularly exciting.
In the North/West group, the bottom of the table, Sparkasse Schwaz HT, has the chance to get its first win of the season in the away game against the Bregenzer Future Team. Both teams are fighting for much-needed points. At the same time, the Spiders Wels are playing against ALPLA HC Hard FT and UHC Salzburg is facing the undefeated league leaders medalp Handball Tirol. Salzburg face a big challenge after not being able to win against this opponent so far this season.
Regarding the past, an already played match between Sportunion die Falken St. Pölten and Handball Sportunion Leoben ended with an exciting draw of 34:34, which took place on October 19th.
The coaches of the teams involved are optimistic about the tasks ahead. Ivan Monev from Koppensteiner WAT Fünfhaus expects his team to show a clear improvement in performance after a weak first half against the Fivers last week. He appeals to the fans to support the team loudly.
