Mountain film festival balancing hike: adventure for Nepal and freeride action

The Montafon will become the scene of the mountain film festival "Colotic hike" on November 29 and 30, 2024. On these two days, visitors can expect exciting program items, including the topics "Freeride" and the appearance of Dani Arnold, one of the best solo alpinists of our time.

This festival not only has the purpose of offering cinematic highlights, but also pursues an important humanitarian goal. The proceeds of the event flow into aid projects for Nepal, which was severely affected in 2015 by a devastating earthquake. In recent years, the “tightrope walk” made significant progress, such as the financing of a teacher content and the construction of a drinking water system in remote mountain regions. For the current event, it is planned to obtain winter uniforms for school children in order to offer them better living conditions in the cold months.
