Vacation salarn: This is how the prices for beach loungers in Italy are increasing!

The prices for a vacation on the Italian beaches are increasing moderately this year, which in particular should affect holidaymakers from Austria. According to the current information from OE24 have to calculate holiday guests for parentheses and lie with increases from 4 to 8 percent, depending on season and region.

Particularly popular holiday destinations are the beaches of the upper Adriatic, such as Veneto and the Riviera Romagnola. The prices vary greatly, depending on the location and comfort. A beach area in Rimini costs 150 euros per week (1 to 4th row), while in Lignano it is 154 euros and 158 euros in Senigallia. Furthermore, the prices in Anzio are 176 euros, in Palinuro at 187 euros and reach up to 340 euros in Alassio, without considering luxury offers.

price increase in detail

A study by the Italian consumer association Altroconsumo, which examined prices in ten cities and 211 beach facilities, shows an average price increase of almost four percent compared to the previous year. Here, too, it can be seen that the beach prices are relatively cheap in popular places such as Lignano, Rimini and Senigallia. In the meantime, the cheapest beach spaces in Senigallia cost 145 euros, while the most expensive space in Alassio costs 340 euros, such as Merkur reported.

The price increases are often associated with improved services and investments in the infrastructure, especially in Veneto and on the Tyrrhenian coast. It is expected that the price comparison for vacationers who want to spend a long time on the beach will be decisive to save money. Compared to the prices of 2022 and 2023, each risen by 10% or 5%, the increases seem to be eliminated in 2024.

regional differences and luxury offers

The price differences between the coasts in the north and south of Italy are considerable. While the north is marked by luxury resorts, the beaches in the south are offered cheaper. For example, a week in Alghero costs around 239 euros, while the prices in Gallipoli are 289 euros, reports Ruhr24.

For the summer of 2025, the usual price increases between three and eight percent are forecast. This means that holidaymakers are well advised to plan in advance and compare the costs for beach spaces in order not only to find the best offers, but also to avoid the emerging price increases.

An exciting example of exclusive beach offers are the pavilion in the beach club "Cinque Vele" in Marina di Pescoluse, which costs 696 euros per day, or the luxurious Arab tent in the Twiga Beach Club in Forte dei Marmi, for 600 euros a day.
