Mulholland encouraged those present to face the challenges in the business world.

Martin Verdino, who is responsible for marketing, communication and diversity, emphasized the promotion of Female Entrepreneurship and Diversity. An exciting contribution came from Sabine Gromer, who presented the concept of anti -fragility. She explained how to learn from uncertainties to secure sustainable success. Lisa Fassl spoke about the challenges that founders face, in particular with regard to access to capital. This topic is particularly relevant because the proportion of women who found their own start-up, in many countries, including Germany, clearly behind which the men remains.

dr. Eyal Ronen presented the role of new technologies and artificial intelligence for companies, which is considered a decisive factor for future success. A Fishbowl discussion on diversity, gender bias and authentic leadership rounded off the variety of topics and promoted the exchange via resilient entrepreneur networks.

support for female entrepreneurship

The need for greater support for founders was also underlined by the challenges with which women are confronted in the business world. According to entrepreneurism.de, too few role models and financial barriers are frequent reasons for women to start rare start-ups. The lack of trust in one's own skills also plays a major role.

In this context, the “Women Start-Up” initiative was presented, which a network for women offers. This platform promotes exchange, supports network options and provides contacts. The events organized by this initiative enable founders to share their experiences and gain visibility.

With more than 19,500 members in over 220 chapters worldwide,

EO offers a valuable opportunity to grow locally and network internationally. The leitmotif of the new Austrian chapter is: "Connect + Learn + Grow".

The foundation of the EO Chapter in Austria is an important step towards stronger support for entrepreneurs: inside and especially for founders who are often underrepresented in today's dynamic economic world.
