Fatal skiing accident: Father dies after falling at the Stubaier Glacier
Stubaier Gletscher, Tirol, Österreich - A tragic skiing accident caused horror at the Stubaier Glacier. On February 6, 2025, a 59-year-old Czech with his 17-year-old son was traveling outdoors when the accident happened. Suddenly the man fell on a steep slope, was thrown several meters through the air and crashed into the floor. The investigation by the Tyrol State Police Directorate showed that the skiing accident was caused by a collision with a snow -covered stone. The 59-year-old apparently grazed the stone with his left ski, which led to his severe fall.
