The popular cooking series "Now Werd’s Guat" returns with an exciting fourth season. This entertaining and educational series, which started six years ago, brings a breath of fresh air to the kitchen. Presented by Oliver Deutsch, an innovative cook who is also a musician and artist, will offer this season more than just food - culinary and music come together here for a special experience!

Oliver Deutsch brings his unique passion for the kitchen into the concept of "Silent Cooking". This means that the viewers can not only attend the cooking process, but also listen to relaxing music. This method allows viewers to concentrate entirely on the preparation of the dishes and to be carried away by the creative atmosphere. The first episode of the new season shows a special dish: buckwheat gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and curry vegetables. It is a simple but at the same time delicious dish that impresses with a subtle exoticism.

The special thing about the preparation

The shooting took place in the Dan kitchen Megastore in East Tyrol, where both the ingredients and the equipment were provided. The ingredients for the court were bought in the Interspar in Nußdorf-Debant, while the pots and pans come from Emil Wassermann's range, a well-known provider in Lienz. This underlines the local connection and appreciation for domestic products and materials.

Special ingredients are used for the preparation of the Wingweizengnocchi. To create the dough, you need floury potatoes, buckwheat flour and a few other ingredients such as pots and egg yolk. A variety of fresh ingredients are also used when preparing the curry vegetables, including vegetables such as karfiol, broccoli and porcini mushrooms. The combination of coconut milk and lime gives the dish a fresh note that fits perfectly with the gnocchi.

When preparing, the potatoes are first cooked and then processed into a fine dough, which then has to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes. In the meantime, the curry vegetables are prepared by frying the onion and the garlic in a pan, followed by the remaining types of vegetables and spices. For the final aroma, the gnocchi and curry vegetables come together before the court is arranged. A well thought -out recipe that delights both the palate and the eyes!
