Together for Noah: Lienzer Indoor cycling race sets signs of solidarity
In Lienz there is currently a remarkable indoor charity bike race that runs until November 21. Hobby cyclists and professionals compete in a modern home bike frame in the bike business Pro Bike, operated by the brothers Herbert, Matthias and Michael Prünster. Each participation costs 15 euros, and these start fees flow into a joint donation pot. In addition, local business people have already contributed vouchers and cash, and even passers -by spontaneously contribute to the donations.
The peculiarity of this competition is in the two classes: In the sports class, those who cover the largest route on a virtual circuit during their 30-minute drive. In the hobby class, the winner is determined, which comes closest to the average of the developed distances. Registration is made online, which means that the participants have a total of 30 minutes.
support for the little Noah
Michael Prünster was delighted with the positive encouragement and the enthusiasm that this winter challing long caused. Together with his brother Matthias and her father, they launched this initiative to do good. The entire proceeds from the charity event "Together for Noah", supported by Philipp Steiner and his initiative "Time Is Your Life", go to a two-year-old boy from East Tyrol who suffers from a genetic defect. The costs for therapies that are necessary for people with disabilities are high and the family wants to help. "We are pleased that we can support the family and invite everyone to take a seat on the home trainer for half an hour as a support for little Noah," said Prünster.
The event not only is a great way to be active, but also an opportunity to give something back to the community. It turns out that people in Lienz are ready to help and that the sporty spirit and solidarity can go hand in hand. Under the motto "Cycling for the little Noah" it becomes clear how important such actions are in order to draw attention to the needs of families that are in a difficult situation.
