Kufstein promotes digital skills: free courses for everyone!
Kufstein. In the digital age, it becomes increasingly important that people can use technology. Unfortunately, not everyone can find their way around with these innovations. Austria has therefore decided to expand support for citizens: inside the communities. Kufstein is no exception.
An important element of this initiative is the course offer as part of the "Digital everywhere" campaign, which is under the motto "Make the Internet to your friend". The agency for education and internationalization has launched this measure to help the citizens: inside the digital world.
course details and topics
In Kufstein, several courses are offered that deal with various aspects of digitization. These courses take place on the following dates:
- Tuesday, November 5th: Online Security for Senior: Inside (9 a.m.-11:30 a.m., Bürgersaal/Rathaus)
- Tuesday, November 12th: Security on the Internet in times of AI and social media (3 p.m. to 6 p.m., BFI Kufstein)
- Friday, November 15th: For parents: Safe in everyday digital family life (2-17 p.m., Bürgersaal, Rathaus)
The courses aim to convey digital skills, especially in an increasingly digital society. Such an ability is increasingly challenged in both professional and private environment. The events are designed in such a way that they offer a supportive and friendly environment in which the participants are addressed individually:

The events are free and are aimed at people of all ages. Above all, people who are unsure about dealing with technology or want to refresh their knowledge should be addressed. The goal is that the citizens can act confidently and competently in the digital space.
