Kufstein promotes digital skills: Free courses for everyone!
KUFSTEIN. In the digital age, it is becoming increasingly important that people can use technology. Unfortunately, not everyone can cope with these innovations. Austria has therefore decided to expand support for citizens in the municipalities. Kufstein is no exception.
An important element of this initiative is the course offering as part of the “Digital Everywhere” campaign, which has the motto “Make the Internet your friend”. The Agency for Education and Internationalization launched this measure to help citizens better orientate themselves in the digital world.
Course details and topics
Several courses are offered in Kufstein that deal with various aspects of digitalization. These courses take place on the following dates:
- Dienstag, 05.11.: Online Sicherheit für Senior:innen (9-11:30 Uhr, Bürgersaal/Rathaus)
- Dienstag, 12.11.: Sicherheit im Internet in Zeiten von KI und Social Media (15-18 Uhr, BFI Kufstein)
- Freitag, 15.11.: Für Eltern: Sicher im digitalen Familienalltag (14-17 Uhr, Bürgersaal, Rathaus)
The courses aim to teach digital skills, especially in an increasingly digital society. Such skills are increasingly required in both professional and private environments. The events are designed to provide a supportive and friendly environment in which participants are individually addressed.
Competencies in everyday digital life
The events are free and aimed at people of all ages. The main target group is those who are unsure about using technology or would like to refresh their knowledge. The goal is for citizens to be able to act confidently and competently in the digital space.
