Brandberg, Österreich - On February 22, 2025, a 31-year-old alpinist from the Rosenheim district was seriously injured in a ski tour in the Zillertal Alps when a snowboard torn him away. The Mayrhofen mountain rescue and two alpine police officers were also in use. The uninjured alpinists were flown to the valley by the police helicopter "Libelle".
