The updated pilgrim guide for footwall drivers after Rome saw the light of day in time for Holy Year 2025. The in Tyrolia-Verlag Performed leader "The pilgrimage path to Rome" offers comprehensive information for pilgrims, which offers the old Brennerweg up to the apostle graves Want to visit city. This is done in 53 daily stages that extend over a distance of around 1,200 kilometers and leads from Innsbruck via Padua and Assisi to Rome. The author Ferdinand Treml, who has looked after the pilgrimage paths in Tyrol for many years, not only wrote detailed directions, but also integrated numerous practical tips and 69 cards that make the way clear.
With the new pilgrim guide, foot pilgrimage is helped to plan the trip in one piece or alternatively in four sections with 12 to 16 stages each. The route combines Via Romea with the Antoniusweg and the Franziskusweg and invites the pilgrims to discover the historical and spiritual highlights along the way. Treml itself has decades of experience in pilgrimage, including at the Camino Francès and in 2011 and 2012 in researching the pilgrimage route from Innsbruck to Rome.
