Infidelity in Switzerland: the surprising result of a study

Many respondents state that sex and satisfaction play a crucial role in the relationship. 31 percent of the participants felt sexually dissatisfied, while 29 percent simply were looking for new experiences. Another exciting result of the survey is the tolerance of the Swiss population towards infidelity. About 50 percent of the respondents could forgive an unfaithful partner. This is remarkably high compared to other countries: this value is 47 percent in the United States, while in Spain only 27 percent would be ready.

In addition, the study shows that the younger generation is increasingly open to non-monogamous relationships. While only 42 percent of the Swiss are knitted as a knitted monogam, 51 percent of Generation Z stated that they were open to alternative relationship models. This seems to change the understanding of relationships and loyalty, which may have a lasting impact on future society.
