Self -service for jewelry lovers: Andrea Freis creative showcase in Lenningen

in the picturesque Lenninger valley, more precisely in the suburb of Oberlenningen, there is a new way of shopping. Andrea Frei, a talented jewelry designer, has set up a self -service house for her handmade jewelry and gifts in front of her house. This happens without the usual opening times - a trendy machine that is becoming more and more found in rural areas. Here you can not only buy jewelry, but also maps and key rings, all of which come from your own workshop.

The special thing about Frei's offer is the modern approach. Instead of paying with coins, customers scan a QR code. A key box and then the showcase is opened via the code to discover your treasures. "The nice thing about the 'freelance' is directness," explains Andrea. "I can put something in the showcase that I only did yesterday, and I quickly see if people are doing well."

inspiration from nature

The 34-year-old jewelry designer not only brings her creative energy into the showcase, but also draws from nature around her place of residence. Your customers now even come from Stuttgart to her workshop, which is on the upper floor of her house. Here you will find tools such as files, polishing machines and even a 3D printer with which she produces and gild your jewelry.

Andrea, who studied in Pforzheim and already gained experience in artists' circles in South Africa and Berlin, consciously decided to go back to nature. "I wanted to live more in the green again," she says and is happy that her family took this step five years ago. Despite initial concerns about security, the self -service concept has proven to be successful. The showcase is only based on the basis of trust, but so far all transactions have been smooth.

The location directly on the hiking trail could be helpful in the future. In spring, when nature awakens back to life, Andrea and her family await more walkers and hikers who may also be interested in looking by in their little business. "You can tell that something is going on every two to three days," she adds with a smile.

pass on creativity

Andrea Frei also has the desire to pass on her creative passion. Together with another entrepreneur from the region, she plans creative workshops in the Lenninger Tal. These workshops should inspire people to discover and express their own creativity. In Advent, for example, she would like to offer watercolor Christmas cards, which could then also be sold in the showcase. "I want to show people that everyone has a creative streak," she says.

With her innovative approach and the beautiful selection of handmade jewelry, Andrea Frei proves to be a creative entrepreneur who can enrich rural life with fresh, modern ideas. For more information on your self-service concept and the creative offer, see the current reporting on www.swr.de .
