in Innsbruck took place on October 5, 2024, the “ORF-Lange Nacht der Museumen”, an important event where around 60 museums in Tyrol opened their goals for the public. One of the most prominent exhibitions this night was "from the Gauhaus to the country house. A Tyrolean Nazi building and its history", which was visited by numerous visitors on the first floor of Landhaus 1 at Eduard-Wallnöfer-Platz.
The exhibition offers a deep insight into the dark chapters of Tyrolean history and invites people to find out about the background and the meaning of this historical building. With the support of LH Anton Mattle and State Office Director Herbert Forster, visiting this exhibition is recommended to get a better understanding of this important topic. "Anyone who has not yet seen the exhibition has the opportunity until the open house in the country house, on October 26, 2024," said Forster.

The exhibition is open for interested parties from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Access only remains closed on public holidays. Visitors only have to present a photo ID to enter the exhibition. This enables all age groups to deal with history and to learn more about the Nazi architecture and its meaning.
Another highlight of the event is a special leadership under the title "Idea of the Affairing Eagle", which will take place on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 4 p.m. This is presented by the exhibition curator Hilde Strobl. The tour meets at the main entrance of the country house 1 and is characterized by open access, for which no prior registration is necessary. This offer is organized in cooperation with the Archive for Bau.Kunst. History of the University of Innsbruck and represents a valuable addition to the existing exhibition.
