The saxophone mouse: a musical adventure for small feelings in Innsbruck
A fascinating music theater for the little ones shines in Innsbruck, which parents of children up to six years of age can look forward to. The project entitled "Die Saxophon Maus" shows the value of every emotion in a playful way. The artists Hannah Lhotta and Flora Resl invite the youngest into a world in which they can get to know and accept the colorful range of their feelings. A performance recently took place in the Nimas Innsbruck, and the response was consistently positive.
The exciting staging pursues the goal of helping the children to recognize and express their emotions. Feelings such as grief or anger in early childhood are often misunderstood or even suppressed. Examples like comforting a crying child with the words "that's not that bad" are commonplace. But it is precisely these emotions that are important to show children that their sensations are valuable and necessary.
emotions clearly conveyed
In "The Saxophone Mouse", the main character experiences a variety of emotions that are represented by strong colors and lively melodies. If the mouse is angry, for example, it wears a fire -red skirt that is accentuated with sounding clamps. Sadness, on the other hand, is conveyed with gentle, gray tones and melancholic melodies. The performance not only remains a visual experience, but also evokes the empathetic skills of the children. Contact with the emotions is reinforced by interactive elements, for example by dancing to happy melodies or the silence when the mouse is sleeping, which touches the little ones.
The staging also offers the children a multi -sensory experience. Apart from the sound impressions, the senses are stimulated in other ways: through gentle touches with flowers or towels and the possibility to explore the instruments used at the end. This holistic approach not only promotes listening, but also feeling what makes the performance particularly clear for children.
