Christmas joy in the crib museum: PVÖ Mäder on a discovery tour
A group of 35 members of the Pensioners' Association (PVÖ) from Mäder took a trip to Tyrol last weekend. The bus driver Klaus Peter safely brought the participants to when they enjoyed a delicious meal at the Neuner inn in Imst. This was the last excursion of the PVÖ Mäder for 2024, and the anticipation for the day together was great.
After lunch, the seniors made their way to an eventful tour of the crib museum. This unique museum is located in a former farmhouse that is over 700 years old. There, Krippenbaueister Kurt Mattle explained the artistically designed and with great love exhibits to visitors. The skills and details that are in every crib were impressive and made many participants pull out their cameras to capture the beauties.
Special ambience and warm hospitality
For refreshment, the guests were spoiled by the museum team with coffee, delicious tunnels and other drinks. This warm greeting and the cozy atmosphere made the day a special experience. Despite the winter conditions that prevailed in the region, Klaus Peter made sure that everyone arrived safely and without snow chains on the way back to Mäder.
The visit to the crib museum has not only spread the Christmas mood, but also strengthened the sense of community of the Mäderer seniors. Such excursions offer a welcome change and promote the coexistence of the older generation, which often searches for opportunities to be active and have new experiences.
