Preferences: FPÖ leads in Upper Styria, ÖVP and Greens show strong results
In the latest elections, the FPÖ achieved impressive results in the preferred votes. The listenest Amesbauer from Upper Styria won 8,994 votes, followed by Wolfgang Zanger with 3,063 votes. Even the FPÖ boss and top candidate for the state election, Mario Kunasek, who was a list of lists, received 1,890 votes.
In the regional constitutional group Graz/Graz area, Axel Kassegger, Member of the National Council, reached 1,684 preferred votes. Surprisingly, Kunasek again received a large number of 8,087 votes, although he was also the last last time. In West Styria, Federal Councilor Markus Leinfellner, despite an ongoing delivery request, obtained the highest approval rate with 3,276 votes.
on the black side, Kurt Egger, ÖVP top candidate, achieved 728 votes on the state list. Ernst Gödl, number one on the regional election list Graz/Graz area, obtained the top value with 6,493 preferred votes. Christoph Stark, Mayor from Gleisdorf, was able to book impressive 5,564 votes for himself in the constituency of East Styria.
At the SPÖ, state list candidate Jörg Leichtfried received 1,365 preferred votes, while Wolfgang Moitzi, second in lists 23, 587 votes. Verena Nussbaum convinced in the regional constituency Graz/Graz area with 2,459 preferred votes. Wolfgang Moitzi was again in Upper Styria with 5,148 votes, followed by Leichtfried with 2,780 votes.
The Greens scored with their top candidate Jakob Schwarz, who received 913 preferred votes. Werner Kogler, Greens boss, achieved 6,435 votes in the constituency of Graz/Graz area and the list last Judith Schwentner at least 1,211.
