In the night of February 24, 2025, the residents of Southeast Styria were woken up by loud sirens when a devastating fire broke out in Seibersdorf near Sankt Veit around 2:30 a.m. A carnival car went up in flames, and the first reports from the Radkersburg area fire brigade showed that an adjacent farm building was also affected, which was fortunately saved.
