Price shock or bargain? The ski ticket prices in Liezen 2024/25 in comparison

The ski season has started in the Liezen region and the operators of the ski areas can look forward to good conditions. Thanks to several cold nights, temperatures have fallen enough to produce artificial snow, allowing winter sports enthusiasts to start the season soon. While the first runs are already possible on the Reiteralm and the Planai, the offering in other areas is also being expanded rapidly.

A look at the prices of the day tickets reveals that there are big differences. In the popular “four-mountain ski area”, which includes Planai, Hochwurzen, Reiteralm and Hauser Kaibling, day tickets cost an impressive 76.50 euros. In comparison, the Kaiserau is significantly cheaper at 34 euros for a day ski pass.

In the Ski Amadé network, which includes some of the largest and most popular ski areas in the region, you can get away for just 799 euros until December 5th, which is 56 euros less than the regular price of 855 euros.

You can save even more with the Schneebären Card, which offers access to the Loser, Tauplitz, Riesneralm, Planneralm and Kaiserau areas. The card is available for 560 euros until December 15th, after which the price increases to 667 euros. The early bird promotions are usually only available online, but offer good savings opportunities for everyone who plans early.
