Tradition meets contemplation: Advent concert inspires in Leoben
Tradition meets a festive atmosphere: On the first Sunday of Advent, the Leoben City Choir held its eagerly awaited Advent concert in the Protestant parish church of Leoben. Under the direction of Brigitte Schabernak, the visitors experienced an enchanting program that not only took into account the local songs, but also invited the audience to sing along. The musical accompaniment by the flute duo Eleonore Haghighi-Kermanshahi and Lena Stiegler as well as the sensitive poetry lectures by Krista Theuerman and Elke Stanta created a contemplative atmosphere that visibly touched the audience. The small but fine choir succeeded in taking the listeners away from the hectic everyday life and creating a contemplative Advent atmosphere, according to a contribution by meinkreis.at reported.
