A serious motorcycle accident occurred on June 11, 2025 at around 5 p.m. on the L606 near Hebalm in the Deutschlandsberg district, Styria. A 26-year-old biker from the Murtal district lost control of his vehicle when he drove off the road in a right-hand bend due to a driving error and crashed into a tree. The accident resulted in life-threatening injuries that required immediate first aid from an emergency medical team.

The seriously injured motorcyclist was immediately transported to the Klagenfurt State Hospital in the C12 rescue helicopter. No third-party involvement in the accident was identified, which classifies the incident as a solo accident.
